By kind permission of Mr and Mrs Noad, Lawrence Art Society members have been invited to paint at this historic character farm with an overgrown ruined farmhouse, penned goats, chickens, and calves.
As this is a working farm, we will need to stay on the vending side of the No Admittance signs for biosecurity measures and safety.

turn left off A361 at the start of The Stand, park in the roped-off vending area.

Creating a winter scene starting with a loose dark orange sketch, building atmosphere through, free, impressionistic brushwork and a limited primary palette.
