  • COLLECTION OF EXHIBITS

Exhibits must be collected on Friday, 10 July between 10.00 and 12.00.

Receipts for work must be presented at the desk prior to removal. No work will be released without

    a receipt being shown.

If you are unable to collect your exhibits please make alternative arrangements for a friend to collect your work and make sure they have the relevant receipt.

  • EXHIBITS

Exhibitors may each submit up to four framed (ready to hang) or box canvas paintings with

a minimum selling price of £50.00 each.

Provided that you have entered at least two framed/box canvas paintings you may also submit up to four unframed mounted paintings/prints (please indicate on your entry form if you are submitting an unframed painting or a print).

Unframed mounted paintings are to have a minimum selling price of £20.00. A cost increase, up to the minimum cost requirement, will automatically be applied for any exhibit  entered with a selling price less than the minimum detailed.

Members may also submit miniatures and other exhibits e.g. sculptures and ceramics; note however that such items, particularly sculptures, must be of the relevant size and weight capable of being carried easily.

  • HANGING

Framed/box canvas exhibits are to be fitted

with a strong cord or wire to enable hanging (the eyes for the wire/cord should be one third of the height of the frame down from the top, and the wire/cord should be taut) so that the hook will not be shown above the painting. Unframed paintings and the prints to be exhibited are to be mounted and covered in clear plastic (not cling film) for protection.

All paintings and prints MUST have a label on the back with the following clearly written in block capitals and as described on the entry form:

    • the artist’s name
    • the title of the exhibit
    • the medium
    • the price.

While there is no size limitation for paintings,

please give detailed dimensions on the entry form for all your paintings. It is important to establish whether an exhibit is landscape or portrait in shape.

For extra-large works, the artist is asked to provide an easel and should indicate that accordingly on the entry form.
