The 2026 Lawrence Art Society Exhibition and Sale proved to be an outstanding success, marking a highlight in our calendar. Hosted in the stunning new location at St. Mary, Devizes, formerly St. Mary's Church, the event was embraced by art enthusiasts from across Wiltshire and beyond.



This year’s event welcomed members and visitors to appreciate a diverse array of original artworks, including paintings, prints, and sculptures by our talented local members, while enjoying the vibrant ambience created by our dedicated volunteers.

Sales raised £4,071, generating around £600 for the society.

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all members who participated and showcased their amazing work, making this event truly memorable. Our deepest gratitude goes to the committee members who worked tirelessly to coordinate and set up the exhibition, ensuring everything ran smoothly and exceeded expectations.


Feedback (see below) from attendees was overwhelmingly positive. Many commented on the exceptional quality of the artworks displayed, the excellent presentation, and the overall atmosphere of the new venue. The event not only provided a platform for members’ talents but also fostered a sense of community and connection among artists and visitors.
